AMALFI COAST

The Amalfi Coast is one of Italy's most fascinating area, located along the southern coast of Campania in the Tyrrhenian Sea. It stretches about 50 kilometres, from Positano to Salerno, and is famous for its extraordinary views and crystal-clear waters.

The best-known towns in the area include Positano, Amalfi, Ravello and Atrani, each with a distinctive character. Amalfi, once an important medieval naval power, is famous for its Sant'Andrea Cathedral, while Ravello is famous for its panoramic villas and the Ravello Music Festival.

The local gastronomy is characterised by dishes based on fresh fish, lemons and pasta, with specialities such as spaghetti alle vongole and limoncello. The Coast is also a paradise for trekking lovers, with trails such as the Sentiero degli Dei (Path of the Gods) offering spectacular views.

This area is a perfect destination for those seeking natural beauty, history and culture, and is easily accessible from Naples and Salerno.
