CAMEROTA
is a municipality located on the Cilento Coast, in the province of Salerno, renowned for its natural landscape and unspoilt beaches. The town is composed of two distinct areas: the historical centre, characterised by narrow alleys and ancient buildings, and the hamlet of Marina di Camerota, which directly faces the sea. Immersed in the Cilento National Park, Camerota offers numerous opportunities for excursions and outdoor activities, allowing one to explore the unspoilt beauty of the area.
From a gastronomic point of view, maracucciata is the most representative traditional dish prepared with this same legume.
